Child dedication is a special moment when parents present their child to God, just as Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:27-28). You're committing your child to God's safekeeping until they're old enough to decide on their own to accept Jesus as their personal Savior. You're also promising to raise them to know and love Jesus, and our church family promises to stand with you.
